Interpretation.
Running a hotel may be described in a variety of ways. Thie choice of interpretation influences our attitude to the work we do. If the hotel is viewed plainly as a way of making money, the attitude towards the Guests will be dominated by invoices and bills.
We, however, see the process of running a hotel as a way to surprise our Guests and make their dreams about relaxing in a modern but cozy place, where they can feel at home, come true. At the same time, we don't forget about the natural environment. On every step, we make all the efforts to make Ilonn Hotel eco-friedly.
Initiative.
We are beaconed by the idea of the wise energy management during all the modernizations and maintenance conducted at Ilonn Hotel. Therefore, our building is eco-friendly mainly due to the saving of energy.
The form of the building allows for an efficient heating and the minimal heat loss. Adequate ventilation of the building (mechanical with heat recovery system) enables the process of recovering heat from the "used" air, which is pumped outside, to heat fresh air. This guarantees the supply of clean, fresh air and savings in costs of the heating.
Initiative.
During the renovation, the thermal isolation on walls and the roof was made thicker and old windows were replaced by the new ones with three glass panes and low rate of heat penetration.
The hotel's eco-friendly installation is completed by solar collectors on the roof that help, to a large extent, heat the usable water.
